Sticky Business

In New Hampshire, laws are more like suggestions, rules are unwritten and the state motto – LIVE FREE OR DIE rules the land. Those who live in New Hampshire do so by choice, never by circumstance. Bound to each other by tradition and a desire for enduring independence, their almost fanatical individuality is their defining characteristic. But it goes deeper. In the small northern towns, hidden in the forests, there are folks who take the New Hampshire philosophy that much further – they’ve never heard of a seatbelt or a motorcycle helmet, and everyone has a gun.
