Diana started her journalism career covering multiple presidential campaigns in Pennsylvania, the swing state to end all swing states, and had a front-row seat to the rise of the Tea Party, the backlash to Obama, and the post-industrial economic depression that drove voters away from moderation and towards Trumpism. Her work has been supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Ford Foundation, and many others. This is her third feature film.

Alex started his career in Los Angeles, in the world of reality television. As a native east coaster, Alex missed his family as well as the cold, dreary winters, so he made the move to New York City where he’s worked in the non-fiction TV world ever since. While as a producer in the longform units of NBC News and CNN, Alex has produced documentaries on subjects ranging from political scandals to prison reform to bizarre medical mysteries.

ROBERT HANNA:  Cinematographer, has photographed numerous award-winning documentary films, including productions by National Geographic, the Discovery Channel, NOVA, and the BBC.  His film credits include Viral: Antisemitism in Four Mutations a film exploring antisemitism around the world; White With Fear which examines how racism is used in U.S. politics now and in the past. Carrier shot aboard the Navy aircraft carrier Nimitz, a ten part series; Sundance’s American Teen; Nova’s Lord of the Ants, about the renowned biologist E. O. Wilson; Discovery’s Galapagos: Beyond Darwin; NBC’s Lost Civilizations; and BBC’s series on the D.E.A. He codirected Live From a Shark Cage, broadcast live from the Bikini Atoll for the Discovery Channel, and an episode of Discovery’s archaeology series Moments in Time about the slave revolt on the island of St. John.
